Two modified Ford Mustang fastbacks are being offered for sale online, both updated with modern Coyote V8 engines and six-speed manual transmissions. The first is a 1966 Mustang originally built as a T-code fastback and subsequently modified in a GT350-style theme. It has been fitted with a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 paired with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission, and it uses a Ford 8.8-inch rear end with 31-spline axles and a limited-slip differential. The car features an SVT Torch Red repaint with white stripes, a hood scoop, 17-inch American Racing wheels, Mustang II-style front-end components, subframe connectors, adjustable coilovers, a Maier Racing rear Panhard bar, and four-wheel disc brakes. Inside are TMI seats, air conditioning, Dakota Digital gauges, a billet shifter, latch-and-link belts, and a Shelby-style steering wheel on a tilt column.
The second is a 1967 Mustang that began life as a GT fastback with a 390ci S-code V8 and a four-speed manual. A custom build completed in 2020 by Schwartz Performance adds an Eleanor-style body update and a supercharged 5.0-liter Ford Performance Ti-VCT Coyote Aluminator V8 with a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed. It uses a Moser 9-inch rear end with a Truetrac differential and rides on a Schwartz G-Machine chassis with Ridetech suspension and Baer disc brakes. It is equipped with Vintage Air climate control and an updated interior, and it is listed with no reserve.
