Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health says Israeli attacks that began on 2 March have killed more than 4,000 people and injured more than 12,000 others. According to the ministry, the death toll surpasses 4,100, reaching 4,106, with 12,153 people wounded. The figures also include 383 women and 251 children among those killed, as well as 135 medical and emergency workers.
In updates published after Friday’s strikes, the ministry reported that the final death toll from attacks on that day rose to 83 people killed, with 141 wounded. It also said the broader toll since 2 March includes at least 135 health and emergency workers killed and that the number of wounded stands at roughly 12,121 to 12,153, depending on the specific update.
Across the reports, the ministry’s counts cite the same overall timeframe and attribute the casualties to Israeli strikes, while detailing the breakdown by gender, children, and health personnel.
