Aardman presents previews of several upcoming projects during the Annecy Animation Film Festival, which opens June 21. At the festival’s main lakeside venue, Bonlieu, the studio’s co-founders and directors—Peter Lord, David Sproxton and Nick Park—take the stage to offer a glimpse of future releases.
Among the projects teased are a new Pokémon series and an upcoming “Timmy” series. Aardman also highlights a separate animated title described as “The (Almost) Untold Story of Danger Delilah,” along with an “Aardman Academy” initiative. In addition to announcements, the studio marks its broader creative legacy at the event, looking back on more than 50 years of clay animation. The presentation is framed as both a celebration of Aardman’s history and a preview of new work across series and short-form projects.
