Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addresses public programmes in Mahoba and Hamirpur during International Yoga Day and announces new development initiatives for Bundelkhand. In Mahoba, he inaugurates and lays foundation stones for 88 projects worth over ₹697 crore under a programme at Modi Gram. He also screens a short film on Mahoba’s development and links the state’s agenda to earlier claims about improving connectivity, water supply and reducing illegal land occupation. He says ropeway and adventure tourism development are planned for Gorakhgiri, including competitions leading up to the Mahoba Mahotsav, and he highlights proposals such as establishing akharas and promoting local tourism and products.

In Hamirpur, he inaugurates and lays foundation stones for 75 projects worth more than ₹636 crore at Swami Brahmanand Mahavidyalaya, Rath. He urges Bundelkhand voters to reject “mafia patrons,” reiterating claims that mafias are jailed or eliminated under the government’s rule. Both events feature references to Har Ghar Jal for household water connections, and continuing work on water and irrigation projects, including the Ken-Betwa link and dam and sprinkler irrigation projects. Adityanath also highlights education initiatives, including a call for medical colleges, and the push for industrial and tourism development in the region.
