Israeli air strikes and shelling continue across southern Lebanon, with multiple Lebanese state media reports citing civilian and military casualties in different locations. In the historic coastal city of Sour (Tyre), an overnight strike near Jabal Amel hospital killed at least four people and wounded seven, while a second strike in a residential area killed more people and wounded others, including a child. In separate reports, an Israeli strike on an inhabited house in Kafr Dunin killed six people and wounded seven. Elsewhere, Lebanese National News Agency reports shelling at the outskirts of al-Mansouri and Majdal Zun at dawn. Additional strikes hit areas around Tyre and Nabatieh, including Hamadieh near al-Bass road in Ma’rakah, Hawsh Tyre, and Qusaybah, according to state media. Lebanon’s National News Agency and other reporting also describe earlier incidents tied to rescue operations, including paramedics among the dead. Lebanon’s Health Ministry figures cited across the reports place deaths since March 2 in the thousands, alongside widespread displacement. The reports also reference ongoing ceasefire arrangements and renewed strikes despite extensions and declarations of pauses in fighting.
