The abductions further worsen the humanitarian situation in southern Kaduna, where many residents remain in captivity following earlier attacks.
One source attributes confirmation of the attack to Reuben Buhari, a former media aide to the late Governor Patrick Yakowa, while attempts to contact the Kaduna State Police Command’s spokesman were not successful. The reports describe mounting fears among residents, particularly about the safety of women and children held in captivity.
