Everton announce a change to their kit sponsorships as Premier League rules tighten front-of-shirt gambling advertising. Stake, which has been Everton’s principal front-of-shirt sponsor for the past four years, is no longer taking the front position. Instead, under a new multi-year arrangement, Stake moves to the sleeve of Everton’s shirts to comply with the league’s ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsorships that comes into effect this season. In the same announcement, Everton unveil CMC Markets as their new front-of-shirt sponsor. The outlets report that CMC Markets’ deal begins in 2026-27 and is reportedly worth around £30 million per year. The club therefore keeps Stake associated with its kit while transferring the betting brand away from the front, and simultaneously brings in CMC Markets for the main shirt branding role. The announcements are presented as coordinated commercial arrangements aligned with the Premier League’s updated advertising restrictions for gambling operators.
