The Ministry of Interior (MВР) initiates criminal proceedings related to peer violence in Aerodrom, Skopje, where a 14-year-old girl is shown in a widely circulated video being brutally beaten and having her hair pulled. Following police contact and an official conversation in a police station, MВР states that it will submit criminal reports not only for the minors suspected of violence, but also for their parents, citing possible “neglect and mistreatment of a minor.”

Interior Minister Panče Toškovski says the case involves children who are in conflict with the law and emphasizes the need for a strong institutional and systematic response. He also notes that, after MВР actions, the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the courts will handle further steps through a transparent procedure to establish and prove the relevant facts.

MВР is working to identify other minors involved, beyond the two initially referenced, who may also face responsibility. The public remains shocked by the video, while authorities proceed with investigative and judicial processes.
