Leandro Trossard is set to leave Arsenal after reaching an agreement to join Besiktas following the World Cup, with a reported €20m/£20m transfer completion after the tournament. Arsenal are also planning ahead in attack and are linked with several options, including the possibility of signing Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge and monitoring players such as PSG winger Bradley Barcola. Metro reports Barcola has impressed at the World Cup but is reportedly unhappy with reduced playing time at PSG and is considering his future. Barcola is said to have been an unused substitute in PSG’s Champions League final win over Arsenal and has a contract running until 2028.

Two former players, Louis Saha and Emile Heskey, both urge Premier League rivals to move for Barcola. Saha suggests a Liverpool bid could be strong and frames Barcola as a player who would benefit from becoming a regular starter, including in the role he would play at Arsenal. Heskey likewise calls Barcola a potential “statement signing” for Liverpool, while noting PSG appears not in a rush to sell and values him at more than £116m. Both reports place Liverpool’s interest within a wider context of squad reshaping after Mohamed Salah’s departure.
