Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) says it has entered a technology and innovation partnership with New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York. Multiple outlets report that the agreement focuses on strengthening the terminal’s digital foundation to support a next-generation guest experience and improve operational efficiency for airlines. TCS is described as providing technology services across the terminal, including support for passenger processing and broader IT and infrastructure management. Reports also say TCS will include AI-enabled IT operations and enterprise application support, alongside cybersecurity services. One account specifies that TCS will help develop airport operations and guest experience through digital infrastructure and AI-enabled operations, and references its Cognix and ignio offerings aimed at providing end-to-end visibility and proactive management of key components of the passenger journey and terminal security. The New Terminal One is presented as part of a larger JFK transformation programme led by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, reported as a $19 billion effort that includes new terminals and other expansions and upgrades. The partnership includes leadership statements from both the airport operator and TCS executives.
