South Korean zombie action horror film “Train to Busan” is set to return to theaters this August for its 10th anniversary. Multiple outlets report that Well Go USA is overseeing the theatrical rerelease and has released a new anniversary trailer to promote the event. The rerelease is described as a “10th Anniversary Remastered & Revived” version, with a new 4K remastered DCP for exhibition. The film, originally released in 2016, follows a father and daughter who begin a birthday trip that turns into a fight for survival after a zombie outbreak spreads through South Korea. Their attempt to reach safety plays out aboard a speeding train. Sources also say the theatrical program includes additional audience content: an intro and a Q&A session of about 10 minutes with director Yeon Sang-Ho, presented after the screening. The movie’s cast is reported as including Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi, Ma Dong-seok and Ahn So-hee.
