Nigerian music star Davido says his monthly personal spending while in Nigeria can reach between $200,000 and $300,000, with one report estimating the figure at up to N400 million per month. In the accounts, Davido describes the amount as money spent on personal expenses that excludes other major categories such as his wife-related costs, household expenses, luxury cars, and jewellery. He also says his spending varies by location: he spends significantly less in the United States, where he lives with his wife and children, and his outlays increase during periods he is in Nigeria. Speaking during a live session on Davrel Twitch, he adds that he keeps the figure capped and that it does not include larger expenditures. Davido also previously discussed plans to establish a mental health therapy centre for formerly popular and successful celebrities. Across the reports, the main point is that Davido provides a high, location-dependent estimate of his monthly personal expenses in Nigeria while clarifying what is excluded from that estimate.

2 hours agoDavido, the Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star, has revealed that his monthly personal expenses in Nigeria range between $200,000 and $300,000. The 33-year-old singer, who spoke during a live session on Davrel Twitch, disclosed that the figure does not include costs related to his wife, household bills, jewelry, or luxury vehicles. Davido explained that his spending habits vary depending on his location. He said he spends significantly less while in the United States, where he lives with only his wife and children. However, his outlays increase sharply during stays in Nigeria. “I actually spend less in Yankee because I live with just me, my wife and my kids,” he said. “When I’m around, I spend a lot more. We are balling every day.” When pressed for a specific figure, Davido estimated his monthly costs at between $200,000 and $300,000, but clarified that the amount is deliberately capped and excludes major expenditures. “I can’t tell you how much, but I can tell you like 300. Normally, probably like 200 to 300,” he added. “This is minus my wife and the house… that one is closed. Minus buying jewellery or buying car.” A few days ago, the singer revealed plans to establish a mental health therapy centre for formerly popular and successful celebrities. “If there is one thing I could do, I would build a centre for people that have been popular and very successful before,” he said.
