The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) allocates Federation Account revenue for June 2026 to Nigeria’s three tiers of government: the federal government, 36 states and 774 local government councils. Bawa Mokwa, the Director of the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, reports that the total amount shared is ₦2.551 trillion (about ₦2.55 trillion). The allocations are made from Federation Account revenue collected during the month and distributed according to the FAAC sharing arrangement. The reports indicate that the funds are distributed among the Federal Government, state governments and local government councils as part of the regular monthly revenue sharing process.
