A second trailer has been released for “Spa Weekend,” a new ensemble comedy from the team behind “Bad Moms” and its sequel, “A Bad Moms Christmas.” The film, directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, follows four lifelong friends who plan a luxury girls’ getaway meant for relaxation and pampering. According to the trailers’ descriptions, the trip quickly spirals into chaos after the arrival of one friend, turning the spa weekend into a chaotic adventure that blends comedy and friendship themes.

The cast includes Leslie Mann, Michelle Buteau, and Anna Faris as three of the central friends, with Isla Fisher playing another friend who contributes to the escalating mayhem. Additional cast members include Adam Demos, Stephen Hunter, Dominic Ona-Ariki, and Jon Quested. The new trailer is described as reusing many scenes from the first trailer while adding fresh footage, and it is positioned as a comedy with a tone similar to “The Hangover” and “Bad Moms.” The movie is scheduled to open in theaters in August.
