Aston Martin has revealed the Dreadnought, a high-performance off-road concept truck designed around the next Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 video game. Autocar reports the vehicle is presented as a full-sized physical model in New York, despite being created for a virtual “battlefield.” The Dreadnought blends styling cues associated with Aston Martin, including a Vantage-like look from its grille-mounted foglights and rear profile, with more utilitarian, military-inspired features such as chunky body cladding, towing points and knobbly off-road tyres.
Inside, the cabin is described as less luxurious than typical Aston Martin models, with an emphasis on functionality. A large driver display shows driving parameters such as speed, direction and vehicle pitch and roll, and it also includes a game-linked display indicating how many opponents the driver has eliminated—functionality that sources say is unlikely to carry over to production vehicles. Controls are also positioned for quick use, including features described as raising a shield, priming external guns, and calling in airstrikes. Exact technical specifications remain to be confirmed, and there is no clear indication of whether the concept will influence any real-world production plans.
