It was purchased out of storage by the current owner and refurbished at Farland Classic Restoration between 2021 and 2024. Approximately $45k worth of work included polishing the Verona Red paint, repairing the rear bumper, reupholstering the cabin, rebuilding the seats, replacing the teak wood trim, restoring the air cleaner housing, rebuilding the radiator and carburetors, and replacing the hood insulation, engine bay seals, vacuum hoses, coolant hoses, and belts. Power is from a 3.0-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission, and the car features replica 16″ Alpina wheels, air conditioning, power windows, and a Bluetooth-compatible RetroSound stereo. The car was previously offered on BaT in September 2024, after which the heater hoses were replaced, and the car has remained in storage since the previous auction.
