Apple increases prices for Apple Music and some Apple One subscription bundles, including in the United States and other countries. Starting today, the Apple Music Individual plan costs $11.99 per month, up from $10.99. The Apple Music Family plan rises to $19.99 per month from $16.99, and Apple continues to allow multiple users through Family Sharing. The Verified college student plan increases to $6.99 per month from $5.99. Coverage of the full Apple Music service and access to Apple TV remains part of the student offering, with no additional cost for Apple TV cited by outlets.
Apple also raises prices for select Apple One bundles. While the individual Apple One plan does not change, the Family and Premier tiers increase by $2 per month to $27.95 and $39.95 respectively, according to reported figures. Outlets also note that Apple has raised prices in Brazil.
In a statement to Music Business Worldwide, Apple says it is raising prices due to “the result of ricing licensing costs,” and Apple Music prices were last increased in October 2022.
