Samsung launches its first co-branded credit card in the United States, called the Samsung Galaxy Card, in partnership with Barclays US Consumer Bank and using the Visa network. Multiple outlets describe the offering as closely tied to Samsung’s digital wallet experience, with the card designed to be provisioned to Samsung Wallet shortly after setup. The card is available in both virtual and physical formats.

Samsung says the Galaxy Card earns cash rewards on everyday spending, with higher rates for purchases connected to Samsung’s ecosystem. Reported rewards include 5% cash back on eligible Samsung purchases, 3% cash back on purchases made through Samsung Wallet, and 2% cash back on select streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, and Spotify, with 1% on other purchases. One outlet also reports a time-limited incentive: cardholders who spend $2,000 within the first 90 days receive $200 in bonus cash rewards.

Samsung also links the card to additional benefits, including discounts related to Samsung VIP Advantage memberships. Applications open in phases around Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, where new devices are expected to be announced.
