Samsung introduces the Galaxy Card in the United States as its first credit card fintech product, announced in partnership with Barclays. The card is issued on the Visa network and is presented as a digital, wallet-integrated offering designed to work within Samsung Wallet. Sources describe the Galaxy Card as virtual-first, with users able to access the card immediately in Samsung Wallet after approval, and Samsung also plans to ship a physical card later.

The Galaxy Card has no annual fee. It offers cash rewards that vary by purchase type: 5% cash back on purchases made directly through Samsung in-store or online in the U.S., 3% for purchases made using Samsung Wallet, 2% on streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ and Spotify, and 1% on other purchases. It also includes promotional incentives, including $200 in rewards after spending $2,000 within the first 90 days. Samsung further links the card to its services, offering a 20% discount on Samsung VIP Advantage membership when using the Galaxy Card.

Sources also compare the product to Apple Card, noting similar device-related financing options for Samsung Galaxy purchases. Barclays describes the card as wallet-native, without a separate banking app.
