A 37-year-old man is charged with making 1,035 silent phone calls to police between 21 and 28 April this year, according to reports. The alleged calls are said to have been placed to the landlines of neighbourhood police centres in Yishun, Bedok, Geylang and Ang Mo Kio North. After being charged, the man is remanded to the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), where he undergoes further assessment, Channel NewsAsia reported.
