Gateway Mining is advancing its Cowza gold discovery at the company’s Yandal project in Western Australia. Multiple outlets report that the mineralised strike has been extended and remains open in multiple directions, with Gateway describing the corridor length as up to 3.5 kilometres. In earlier updates, the company also reported tripling the strike length to 2.5 kilometres and confirming gold in fresh rock. The most recent reporting indicates that Gateway extends the discovery by an additional kilometre to reach 3.5 kilometres, supported by high-grade assay results. To accelerate work, Gateway has deployed a second reverse circulation (RC) drill rig to the Cowza area. The second rig is expected to help fast-track ongoing drilling across the mineralised corridor. Several reports also note that further drilling results are pending as the program continues, and that the mineralised system remains open for additional potential expansion beyond the current known extent.
