Samsung Electronics rolls out an AI-powered “Health Assistant” aimed at acting as a virtual health companion for Samsung Health users. Announced on July 21, the assistant is available in beta to eligible users in the United States. Samsung positions it as a fully integrated personal health assistant that works alongside Samsung Health, using information already collected through Samsung’s health ecosystem.
According to Samsung, the assistant draws on health and wellness data from a user’s Galaxy smartphone, smartwatch, and smart ring and then provides personalized guidance based on that information. Reporting across outlets also notes that Samsung Health Assistant supports queries about health and wellness goals, offering tailored recommendations rather than general tips.
Bloomberg additionally highlights that Samsung is rolling out related health-platform updates, including features focused on heart metrics.
