Apple updates its Apple Invites iOS app with version 1.10, introducing two small RSVP-focused features. According to release notes cited by both outlets, hosts and guests can now react to replies using emoji when responding to an event. The update also adds a confetti animation that appears when guests reply. Both sources describe the changes as minor and aimed at making RSVP interactions more interactive and celebratory.
The app, originally released for iPhone in February 2025, lets users create event invitations for occasions such as birthday parties and baby showers. Creating an event requires subscribing to an iCloud+ plan with at least 50GB of storage, while recipients can RSVP for free on any device via the event link. Beyond the new interaction features, Apple’s update notes also indicate that version 1.10 includes bug fixes and performance improvements. The update is available now through the App Store.
