AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal calls on India’s Gen Z to demand accountability over an alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Speaking at press conferences, he says repeated paper leak incidents have shaken students’ confidence and disrupted the futures of large numbers of aspirants. Kejriwal questions the effectiveness of investigations carried out by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), arguing that earlier probes did not lead to strict punishment for those responsible and that the current investigation will not produce meaningful results. Several reports cite his claim that leaks have occurred repeatedly since 2014, including instances in states governed by the BJP, and he links the pattern to what he describes as a broader “nexus” behind recurring exam leaks. He also invokes protests in neighbouring countries, comparing Gen Z-driven political pressure in Bangladesh and Nepal to what Indian students could do to force accountability. Separately, one report says authorities are investigating the suspected source of the leak, have questioned more than 150 people including students and parents, and have detained a shop operator for distributing leaked material. Kejriwal urges sustained action in response to the allegations.
