Investigators probing irregularities around NEET-UG 2026 identify a student studying MBBS in Kerala as a link in the circulation of a “guess paper” containing questions similar to those reportedly asked in the exam. According to a senior official of Rajasthan’s Special Operations Group (SOG), the material is traced to a student from Sikar, Rajasthan, who first received it from a friend and then shared it with others. The SOG official says the document reached multiple coaching students and later candidates in and around Jaipur before the exam held on 3 May.
A second account from The Hindu also cites SOG officials, stating that the Kerala-based MBBS student forwarded the guess paper to friends in Sikar and to a hostel owner there. The hostel owner, in turn, shares the material with students living in the hostel, describing it as potentially helpful. The Business Standard report adds that the hostel owner later alerts local police, indicating that a question bank or similar material was distributed among many people. The investigation is ongoing, with police action tied to the reported chain of sharing.
