The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) says it finds no evidence linking Sanjeev Kumar, also known as Sanjeev Mukhiya, to the theft or distribution of the NEET-UG 2024 question paper. According to the CBI, its probe does not support the allegations against him. The agency states that it has filed a chargesheet against 45 accused and that it identifies the broader conspiracy behind the alleged leak.

The development follows the Bihar police naming Mukhiya in the FIR, with the police asserting he was involved in certain other examination paper theft or leak cases. The CBI’s position is that, despite this mention in the FIR, the investigation into the NEET-UG 2024 case does not yield evidence connecting him to the NEET question paper theft or dissemination.

Both reports describe the CBI’s conclusion as a clearance of Mukhiya from the NEET-UG 2024 leak allegations, while noting that the investigation continues against other accused and includes the chargesheeting of multiple suspects.
