Multiple reports citing leaks say Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo S2 in India on August 6, with first sales expected to begin on August 11. The leaks also include a promotional-style tagline, and photos/dummy units that allegedly show the phone’s design, which is described as similar to earlier Vivo S-series offerings. The device is expected to revive the S series in India after a long gap since the vivo S1 debuted in 2019.
The reported internal listings point to two storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Colours mentioned across the leaks include Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze, and Silk White. Price details vary by listing type in the reports, with one leak indicating the 8GB + 128GB model at about Rs. 43,000 and the 8GB + 256GB model at about Rs. 42,000, while “demo” unit pricing is also shown separately.
For specifications, earlier leaks describe a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset (an alternative chipset claim also mentions a MediaTek Dimensity 7360), a 7,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging, and a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
