Motilal Oswal Financial Services reports a return to profit in Q1 FY27 ended 30 June 2026, with shareholders’ figures increasing year-on-year. Consolidated net profit rises to ₹1,273.11 crore, up from ₹1,155.84 crore in the same quarter last year, according to reported financial results. Total income for the quarter increases 27% to ₹3,432.23 crore, while revenue from operations grows to about ₹3,425–₹3,426 crore, up roughly 25–28% year-on-year. Total expenses rise as well, to ₹1,898.38 crore from ₹1,339.31 crore.
The company also reports growth across key business metrics. Total AUM increases 31% year-on-year. Earnings per share improves, with basic EPS reported at ₹21.15 (up from ₹19.39) and diluted EPS at ₹20.77 (up from ₹19.10). Segmental reporting shows higher performance in asset and private wealth management and mixed results in other segments. Despite the results, the company’s shares fall about 7–8% in trading after the announcement. The board approves the unaudited financial results.
