Bandai Namco has confirmed that DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO’s Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC launches on July 30, 2026. The expansion is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam), with platform specifics for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 expected to be announced later. Across the reporting, the DLC is described as adding more than 30 new playable fighters, with one outlet citing 33 fighters. In addition to character additions, the DLC is set to include four new stages and gameplay adjustments.
Alongside the paid content, Bandai Namco is also releasing a free update for the game. Several sources highlight a new solo mode included with the DLC: “Limit Breaker Journey” (also described as an RPG-lite style experience). In this mode, players progress by choosing a character and developing or leveling abilities through a series of battles, with customization elements tied to the character’s growth.
