Rather than abandoning the initiative, LASUTH argues that the step-by-step approach is necessary to ensure proper implementation and minimise disruptions for patients. The reports indicate that LASUTH is communicating assurances to patients and the public while continuing the digitalisation drive, including efforts to manage the interaction between physical (manual) records and the electronic system during the transition period.
