Authorities in London are offering a reward of up to £3,000 (about €3,509) for information that leads to an arrest and conviction after a monkey is found abandoned on a bus. Multiple reports say the animal is a female common marmoset and that it is discovered last Friday while a bus is waiting in Kensal Rise, in north-west London. The monkey is reported to be caged and left on board the route 302 bus. One account describes the monkey as being found inside a laundry bag at about 11:43am. The bus is described as travelling on the 302 route between Mill Hill Broadway Station and Kensal Rise. The reward is intended to help identify who abandoned the animal and where responsibility lies. No information is provided across the reports on any suspects or charges at this stage, but an investigation is underway following the discovery.
