The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) extends the UGNEET 2026/UGCET application deadline to July 30, 2026, after requests from candidates and parents following an earlier July 24 deadline. The extension applies to NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates who have appeared and qualified but have not yet submitted their UGCET/UGNEET applications. KEA states that eligible candidates can complete fresh applications by the revised date.
KEA also clarifies that it has not yet received the NEET results data required for the next stage of the admission process. As a result, KEA says it will provide candidates with an opportunity to link their NEET roll numbers once the relevant information is received. Until then, KEA advises candidates and parents not to worry about the delay and to monitor updates.
According to KEA officials, after a NEET roll number is entered, the document verification process will proceed. KEA further asks applicants to regularly check the official KEA website for additional instructions and details on the admission procedure for medical, dental, and AYUSH courses.
