Security forces in Zamfara State say they are intensifying search efforts after the abduction of the Executive Chairman of Bungudu Local Government Area, Nura Umar Abdullahi, by suspected terrorists. The reports say that following a terrorist attack on Abdullahi’s residence, five family members are rescued from the area connected to the incident. The outlets describe the rescue as occurring while troops continue operations aimed at locating the abductors and tracking the missing chairman.
