Juniper Green Energy Ltd sets its initial public offering (IPO) price band at ₹214 to ₹225 per equity share. The company schedules the public issue to open for subscription on July 30 and to close on August 3. Anchor investor bidding is set to begin on July 29. At the upper end of the price band, the company estimates a post-issue market capitalisation of about ₹12,802 crore. The IPO consists entirely of a fresh issue of equity shares, with no offer for sale (OFS) component, and raises ₹1,800 crore in total. When filing draft papers, the company had proposed raising up to ₹3,000 crore through the public issue. Funds are planned for repayment or prepayment of some borrowings (including ₹683.24 crore for the company) and for investments in subsidiaries—Juniper Green Gamma One, Juniper Green Kite and Juniper Green Power Five—to repay or prepay outstanding loans (₹728.69 crore). Remaining proceeds are intended for general corporate purposes. The offer reserves 50% for QIBs, 15% for non-institutional investors and 35% for retail investors, and proposes to list shares on BSE and NSE on August 6.
