NBCUniversal and YouTube reach a multi-year agreement that brings Peacock into YouTube Premium for U.S. subscribers. Starting in early 2027, YouTube Premium subscribers will be able to stream Peacock content through the YouTube app as part of a bundled subscription, according to multiple reports. The partnership includes Peacock Premium content, including ad-supported shows and movies, with details described as “the entirety of Peacock content” in some coverage. The companies also extend aspects of their broader distribution relationship, including renewed terms for YouTube TV and additional NBCUniversal content on YouTube platforms.
Several outlets report that NBCUniversal will also make some live sporting events available via its YouTube channels, including on NBC Sports’ YouTube channel. The deal is described as building on a wider NBCUniversal–Google arrangement announced last year. Peacock’s availability under the agreement is reported as U.S.-only. While the reports vary slightly in wording around pricing and “no extra charge,” the overall terms are consistent: YouTube Premium includes Peacock content starting early 2027 in the United States, delivered through YouTube.
