Actress Shivangi Joshi shares a deeply personal secret on Lock Upp season two, during discussions among contestants in which personal disclosures are at stake. According to the reports, her secret is linked to the on-screen keyword “bread butter,” while she also chooses to speak about alleged childhood molestation.
Joshi says the accused was her mother’s sworn brother, whom she addresses as “mama ji.” She alleges the incidents happened around the time she was preparing to move to Mumbai to pursue acting. She recalls that the man would offer “driving lessons” and ask her to sit on his lap, making her uncomfortable as she later refused to continue. She also alleges that he visited her home one night when her parents were away, tried to convince her she would need to be prepared for intimate scenes, and allegedly kissed her after she was brought close.
Both accounts state that Joshi says her parents returned in time, and that she believes her parents protected her and expelled the man from the home. She adds that the trauma affected her significantly, including stopping her from going to school for a period, and that her parents became more protective afterward.
