Peel Regional Police have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Kaleb Kimotho, 19, of Brampton, in connection with a double shooting in the Bramalea area. Police say the charges include attempted murder using a firearm, aggravated assault, and discharging a firearm with intent to endanger or cause harm. According to investigators, two people were sitting in a vehicle when shots were fired on April 26, and both victims were wounded.
The Toronto Sun reports that police consider Kimotho “armed and dangerous” and says he is wanted for an attempted murder related to a shooting in Bramalea that occurred in April, with the date reported as April 6. Both outlets describe the case as involving a nationwide warrant and multiple firearms-related offences.
Police are asking the public not to approach Kimotho and to contact authorities with any information that could help locate him. Investigators continue to seek his arrest as the case moves forward.
