Waaree Energies reports that its consolidated Q1 performance strengthens year-on-year, with revenue rising sharply and profits increasing. According to the company’s results, revenue from operations grows 79% year-on-year to ₹7,932 crore, bringing total revenue to nearly ₹8,000 crore. The growth is attributed to higher business activity in its solar PV and EPC segments. The company’s profit also improves: consolidated bottom-line is ₹850 crore, up 14% from the prior year quarter. One outlet adds that operating income is supported by a US tariff refund, which contributes to the quarter’s operating results. Taken together, the coverage indicates that Waaree’s Q1 gains are driven by both stronger revenue generation across key businesses and an additional boost to operating income from the tariff-related refund. All figures refer to the same reported quarter and are presented on a consolidated basis.
