Apple begins selling certified refurbished Studio Display XDR models in its online Certified Refurbished store. Reports say this is the first time the Studio Display XDR appears as refurbished since the display launched in March. Refurbished availability is described for the United States and also includes markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, and select other countries.
Pricing is reported as a standard Apple refurbished discount of about 15% versus new configurations. One refurbished option with a VESA mount adapter and standard glass is listed for $2,459, down from $2,899 new. Another refurbished configuration with the tilt- and height-adjustable stand and standard glass is priced at $2,799, down from $3,299. Additional refurbished configurations with nano-texture glass are also available.
Apple says refurbished units go through full functionality testing and receive a thorough cleaning, along with inspection. Refurbished displays are covered by Apple’s one-year limited warranty and can be eligible for extended AppleCare+ coverage. The Studio Display XDR’s listed specifications include a 27-inch mini-LED 5K panel, up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 12MP Center Stage camera, six speakers, and Thunderbolt 5 and USB-C connectivity.
