The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Intermediate (Class +2) spot admission schedule for the 2026–28 academic session. The online registration process for admissions against vacant seats opens on August 5, 2026, and students can complete the spot admission procedure until August 11, 2026. The process is handled through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) portal. After students complete the required steps with the concerned institution, schools and colleges are required to update admitted students’ enrolment details on the OFSS portal by August 12, 2026. BSEB also emphasizes timely submission of required documents within the specified admission window.

Vacant seats are displayed institution-wise, including faculty and subject availability, under the “Important Information” section on OFSS. Students are directed to approach the principal or headmaster of the institution for spot admission requests in the faculty and subject where seats are available. The board notes that students who have passed examinations from CBSE (including supplementary), ICSE, and other recognized boards can apply. It also reiterates specific instructions for students who were selected earlier through slide-up and for minority and residential institutions, including requirements for completing OFSS updation.
