Asus has launched the Asus Pad, a premium Android tablet, in India with pricing and sales details. The tablet features a 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and support for high peak brightness, along with DCI-P3 colour coverage. Asus states the device includes certification for reduced flicker and low blue-light emission. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek octa-core chipset, described by outlets as the MediaTek D8300/Dimensity 8300, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage comes in 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 variants, with expandable storage supported via a microSD card slot up to 1TB.
The Asus Pad includes a 9,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It ships with a protective folio case and supports the ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus. Camera and connectivity details include a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera with face unlock, and connectivity options such as Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The tablet is priced at Rs. 45,990 (8GB/128GB) and Rs. 49,990 (8GB/256GB), and goes on sale starting August 6 through Flipkart, Asus platforms, ROG stores, Reliance Digital, and authorised retail partners.
