The case stems from footage that circulated online showing a coach allegedly forcing a secondary school student to slap himself multiple times on a school court. The incident is linked to Hon Wah College in Siu Sai Wan and is described by police as occurring about two years earlier. Police have said in a reply published to media that they found insufficient grounds to bring charges. As a result, the matter does not proceed to prosecution, though the investigation and arrest have already taken place.
