The State Bank of India (SBI) will conduct the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Prelims 2026 on August 1 and August 2, with four examination shifts each day. Candidates are required to appear only in the shift allotted on their admit card and to follow the sectional timing pattern during the exam. Reporting times and exam windows are scheduled separately for each shift, and candidates are advised to arrive before the reporting time mentioned on their admit card to avoid possible denial of entry due to formalities such as security checks.
Across the two days, the shifts run as follows: Shift 1 has reporting at 8:00 AM with an exam from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM; Shift 2 reports at 10:30 AM with the exam from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM; Shift 3 reports at 1:00 PM with the exam from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM; and Shift 4 reports at 3:30 PM with the exam from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates are instructed to read the guidance on their admit cards, carry a printed admit card, an original photo identity proof, and any documents/photographs specified, while not carrying prohibited items such as electronic gadgets, study material, or metallic items into the examination hall.
