Tata Motors reports that its passenger vehicles (PV) sales increase 59% to 63,760 units in July, compared with the same month last year, according to two reports citing company sales data. The figures cover the company’s PV sales performance for the month and highlight growth at both the overall and international levels.

Both outlets agree that Tata Motors’ international business PV sales improve significantly. In July, international PV sales are reported at 1,149 units, up from 654 units in the corresponding month last year, representing a rise of 76%. Together, the reported figures indicate that the company’s global PV demand strengthens alongside its domestic or total PV volume growth.

The reports focus on month-on-month comparisons versus July of the previous year and provide the same headline numbers for total PV sales and for international PV sales, with consistent percentage increases.
