Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) reopens its Residence Hall after four years of upgrades, the college says. The work is described as a major renovation and improvement of the on-campus living facilities, supported by funding from the SRF Foundation. The reopening ceremony is presided over by Ms. Vasvi Bharat Ram. Around 150 first-year students are reported to be the first group to move into and use the newly upgraded, improved and secure residence facilities. The college states that the updated hall is intended to provide a better living environment that supports students’ academic pursuits and helps them build friendships and personal growth during their time at the institution. The sources characterize the reopening as a “grand” event marking the completion of the multi-year upgrade project.
