Lollapalooza’s third day is delayed in Chicago after intense overnight flooding leaves parts of the festival grounds muddy and waterlogged. Multiple outlets report that the day’s schedule is pushed back, with activity delayed from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. CT. As a result, most performances scheduled within the affected three-hour period are canceled, though a limited number of sets are retained.
Among the artists whose plans change, Wolf Alice’s set is shortened. The band’s revised performance time reflects the broader operational adjustments being made due to the field conditions. K-pop group Cortis is also moved to a later time and will play a shorter set than originally announced, with the performance duration reduced from 50 minutes to 40 minutes.
Organizers are making additional timing changes to accommodate ongoing recovery and safety concerns linked to the flooding, though only some sets are confirmed to proceed during the initial window after the delay.
