Protests by job aspirants in Jharkhand over alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations continue into the ninth day, with demonstrators claiming discrepancies in Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) exams. Students and supporters say the scale of alleged issues has undermined trust in the recruitment process, and they call for reforms and accountability.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other backers are publicly supporting the protesters. BJP leaders demand a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged exam irregularities. Another supporter, Abhijeet Dipke, also voices support for the students and echoes demands for a CBI investigation, stating that the protestors have lost confidence in the ongoing Central Industrial Investigation? (CID) inquiry.

Meanwhile, the current investigation has reportedly resulted in arrests and questioning of former officials connected to the recruitment process. Protesters argue that the existing investigation has not addressed their concerns, and they indicate further escalation if their demands are not met.
