An OCTA Research nationwide survey finds that 43% of Filipinos consider bribery the most serious impeachment charge against Vice President Sara Duterte. The result comes from OCTA Research’s latest noncommissioned “Tugon ng Masa” survey released by GMA News Online and also reported by Inquirer.net.
Both outlets say bribery is the top perceived impeachment allegation across regions, with varying levels of support. In Metro Manila, 47% of respondents identify bribery as the strongest charge. In the Visayas, the figure is 54%, while Mindanao and the rest of Luzon report 43% and 38%, respectively. The findings reflect public perceptions of which allegations would most justify action by an impeachment court.
