Profit also grows: NDTV cites a 5% rise in profit, while the Free Press Journal reports consolidated net profit of ₹228.41 crore, up 6% from ₹215.59 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The Free Press Journal adds that total consolidated expenses rise to ₹2,116.07 crore from ₹1,919.18 crore, alongside higher costs for materials consumed. Management commentary attributes demand strength to healthy decorative and industrial demand, improved monsoon timing, and better-than-market performance in automotive, while also noting disruptions from West Asia geopolitical conditions and higher raw material costs due to rupee depreciation.
