The executive identified is Laura Legros, a former vice president of hardware engineering who retired in 2022. Bloomberg reports that Legros is returning as part of Ternus’s management team, and Apple-focused outlets describe her as one of his trusted deputies during his prior time leading hardware engineering.
According to the reporting, Legros is expected to report directly to Ternus and take on responsibilities that span multiple parts of the company, though at least one outlet notes that her exact new title and scope have not been publicly detailed.
